Dr.Neeta Nikam, MD, PhD-Naturopathy
Dr.Neeta Nikam was a multi faceted personality right from her childhood days, she excelled in education, sports, drama. She grew in the company of her grandparents and relatives who were ayurvedic practitioners and learnt ayurveda in practical sense.
As Dr.Neeta grew, her passion for Ayurveda and Naturopathy grew. In her pursuit to learn more about the ancient medical science of Ayurveda Dr.Neeta Nikam has done her MD, PhD – Naturopathy & Ayurveda. Today Dr.Neeta Nikam is an Ayurvedic Consultant of repute.
Apart from her ayurvedic and naturopathy practice, Dr.Neeta Nikam participates in social activities. She is actively engaged in activities of Counseling of Students, works in parent child issues, women empowerment. Dr.Neeta Nikam with her elder sister Mrs.Kanchan Salgaonkar has conducted several seminars and workshops on these issues and guided thousands. She has actively worked in Nashik region with widows of farmers who committed suicide. She taught them various self employment activities and make them capable of earning gainful employment. Dr.Neeta Nikam & Mrs.Kanchan Salgaonkar were awarded Savitribai Phule Puraskar by Govt. of Maharashtra for their efforts. Dr.Neeta Nikam has won many awards and accolades for her work in Ayurveda and Social Work as well.
